General farm supplies:
– Hay & straw bales (square is best)
– Large (96ft long) greenhouse frame (for bat/bird flight conditioning)
– Pea gravel substrate (4yards per duckling enclosure, which we have x4 of)

Enclosure building materials:
– Shade cloth, e.g. Coolaroo (for stress reduction all outdoor pens)
-Chain link fencing (6-8ft high, used or new)
– White indoor paint (for wood, non-toxic)
– Plywood sheets (3/4in)
– Pressure treated lumber
(incl. 2×4’s, 2×6’s, 4×4’s of various lengths)
e.g. from Home Hardware Summerland
– Hardware cloth fencing
(various sizes of square meshing)
– Stucco wire, aka: galvanized steel fencing
(2x2in, 4 or 8 ft high)
– Concrete pavers (2ft square, used or new)

Barn/farm/gardening equipment:
– Large knotless fish nets (for capturing large birds)
– Galvanized steel stock tanks (100-420 gallon) for beaver kits, e.g. from Buckerfield’s West Kelowna
– Reptile incubator (e.g. for turtle eggs)
– Dog kennels/runs (e.g. from Country West Supply, Armstrong)
– Pine shavings or natural absorbent “kitty litter” (made from wood fibres)

Hospital equipment (can be lightly used):
– Baby/pet or kitchen scale (in grams for up to 5kg)
– Ultrasonic Doppler Flow Detector

House-hold items (can be lightly used):
– Front loader washing machine
– Room humidifier (for bats)
– Electric Oil Heater (for any of our indoor spaces)

Our storage needs:
– Shipping container (10ft’er or standard 20ft’er)
– Insulated wooden shed (ideally 10ftx10ft) for overwintering patients in need onsite
